COLORADO ACCESS AND FUNCTIONAL NEEDS CONFERENCE

The Access and Functional Needs framework suggests there are resources EVERYONE needs during emergencies regardless of who we are. This means that everyone needs access to resources in order to function during emergencies.

Colorado's Access and Functional Needs (AFN) program leads the development and day to day operations of a statewide network of federal, state, regional and local AFN stakeholders. The program coordinates direct technical support to state agencies and local jurisdictions in the development of inclusive, whole community emergency operations plans that adequately account for inclusion of people with access and functional needs. Check out the Colorado DHSEM Access and Functional Needs website to learn more.
